DESCRIPTION AND INSTRUCTIONS:
You are now the proud owner of 40 BEAUTIFUL icons especially designed to
enhance the inate "Idiom" of your most wondrous Macintosh system.
The individually handcrafted works of stylistically perfect art, each
possess the following great features:
1: Optimized for 256 colors. The more colors you have, the better the icons look.
2: A wide variety of really neat styles. Yes!, you can choose anything from the "Pseudo-Sun Collection" to the "Demonic Happy Faces". Make your computer fit you mood! Have Fun with
cool icons! Wheee!
3: No batteries needed, though if you feel the need, I'm sure there are many qualified psychologists that would be happy to help.
4: Drawn by the Not-Quite-But-It-Sounds-Better-If-We-Call-Him-The-WORLD RENOWNED ARTIST: **DANIEL COOK!!*** (This fact alone is simply amazing)
5: Simple installation that takes advantage of your Mac's hidden function...Now you too can be
a Mac Power user!
1 First select the awesome icon you wish to copy onto your boring standard icon.
2 Next select "get info" (Command i) from the file menu.
3 Click on the little picture of the icon that shows up in the info box.
4 Now just go over to the Edit menu and select Copy.
5 Close the icon's info window.
6 Then select your old icon,
7 "get info",
8 select little icon picture ( a black box should appear around it when it is selected.),
9 and then goto the Edit menu and "Paste".
10 Close the info box.
Ta-DAAAHH!!! You now have changed an icon! (Isn't it just a marverlous feeling?)
6: System 7.01 compatible, and is able to multitask more than 12 icons without glitching.
Now for the serious stuff:
SERIOUS STUFF:
These icons where drawn over a period of about 3 days using my new copy of ResEdit. Let me warn any of you who have even the *slightest* artistic bent: Making Icons can be addictive.
Each one took anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour so I figure this set took me at least 24 hours
to finish. That's what I call FUN!
PLEA:
I'm a poor college student with extremely limited resources...
(Insert standard story about how I have to take care of my 12 grandmothers by working 3 night jobs at McDonalds, all while trying to pass my insanely hard courses)
